Most gutter problems in Cork are one of three things: blockage from moss and leaf debris, brackets that have pulled loose so the fall runs the wrong way, or joints and seals that have simply given up. Any of them will send water down the wall instead of into the downpipe, and a wall that stays wet through a Cork winter will eventually show damp inside.

Fascia and soffit replacement

If the paint is flaking, the timber is soft to a screwdriver, or birds are getting into the eaves, the fascia and soffit have reached the end. Replacing them in maintenance-free uPVC or powder-coated aluminium ends the repainting cycle for good and gives the whole house a noticeably sharper line.

We fit vented soffits as standard. Sealing the eaves without ventilation starves the roof space of airflow and creates condensation, which is a far more expensive problem than the one you were solving.
